Want hassle-free ink reduction? ecoPrint2 Ink and Toner Saver is a discreet background application that cuts up to 3/4s of your ink usage without you ever having to think about it.
Did you know that ounce by ounce, printer ink now costs far more than the world's finest perfumes and wines? Even so, most printer owners are still consume more ink and paper than they really need, bleeding money out of their pockets and into the environment as pollution.
Today, the average home and business user consumes thousands of pages of paper, and several annual replacements of ink and toner per year. In addition to the physical costs and financial impacts of printing (paper
wastage, and unnecessarily high ink and toner usage) the impact upon the environment (trees required to produce paper, emissions created as a result of producing paper/ink/toner, excess packaging resulting from ink/toner, and unnecessary ink/toner leaching into the environment) is staggering.

===========
* Ink Saver
ecoPrint is easy to use--and to find--it is an extension of the regular print function. When a user wishes to print a document, ecoPrint's ink saver feature allows users to reduce the amount of ink and toner to be used for the print job. After selecting their normal "Print" function, ecoPrint's "Economy Printing" window appears enabling the adjustment of ink or toner to be saved and determined by the user. In many cases, users can reduce the amount of ink by up to 75% without significantly compromising document legibility.
* Conservation Calculator
Track your environmental impact. The conservation calculator shows the immediate and positive impact that ecoPrint customers can make on the environment. The calculator provides a detailed report on the number of trees and the amount of energy used, paper waste and greenhouse gasses emitted due to a user's current printing habits. The calculator also recommends easy steps that can be taken to reduce waste by modifying the amount of ink and paper used.
